ENOSBURG, Vt. — The Enosburg Opera House is preparing for a busy stretch of late winter and early spring programming, with a mix of live music, theater and recurring community events drawing residents back into the historic venue.

Recent and upcoming offerings highlight the Opera House’s role as a year-round cultural hub. A community “Blues Jam,” hosted by local musicians, continues to bring performers and audiences together for informal, donation-based evenings of live music.

Looking ahead, one of the marquee productions this season will be “Chicago: The Musical,” with performances scheduled for early April. The production follows January auditions and ongoing rehearsals, reflecting strong local participation in community theater.

In addition to major productions, the Opera House maintains a steady lineup of recurring programs, including “Theater Troop Fridays,” which provide youth-focused arts education and hands-on performance experience throughout the year.

Earlier in the season, the venue also hosted specialty events such as a cabaret and burlesque variety show, underscoring the diversity of programming offered at the historic space.

Organizers say the goal remains consistent: to offer accessible, locally driven entertainment while preserving one of Enosburg’s most recognizable landmarks. With additional events expected to be announced in the coming weeks, the Opera House continues to serve as a central gathering place for arts, culture and community life in Franklin County.
