ENOSBURG FALLS, Vt. — The Village of Enosburg Falls scheduled spring hydrant flushing for Tuesday, May 5, beginning at 6:30 a.m., according to a public post shared by the Enosburgh Initiative.
Hydrant flushing is a routine utility maintenance practice used to clear sediment, check water flow and keep the water distribution system operating properly. During flushing, residents may temporarily notice discolored water or changes in pressure.
The notice advised residents that the work would begin early in the morning. Village residents generally should avoid doing laundry during active flushing and should run cold water until it clears if discoloration occurs.
The Village of Enosburg Falls operates municipal services from 16 Village Drive and posts notices, meeting agendas and minutes online and at public locations around town, including the village office, post office, library, Hannaford and Stewart’s.
