Richford posts new zoning fee schedule

RICHFORD, Vt. — Richford has posted a new zoning fee schedule covering residential, commercial, subdivision, certificate and special meeting fees.

The schedule lists a $55 fee for residential building permits, $120 for commercial building and minor subdivision permits, $50 for accessory or addition permits, and $25 for signs or certain fence permits. A hearing, appeal, change of use, conditional use, site plan review, major subdivision, variance or waiver is listed at $150.

The fee for an unscheduled special meeting is $250. A certificate of compliance is $75, while a certificate of occupancy is $55. The schedule also lists a $250 fee for “No Permit” and says all permits must be recorded. Recording fees are $15 per page.

The document says the fees were adopted by the Selectboard in June 2024 and became effective July 1, 2024.
