Enosburg Falls: Opera House posts auditions, youth theater and a blues jam

ENOSBURG FALLS, Vt. — The Opera House at Enosburg Falls is stacking its winter schedule with a mix of performance, participation and community programming, highlighted by a late-January blues night and mid-month theater auditions.

The venue lists “CHICAGO AUDITIONS” on Jan. 15 and Jan. 17, inviting performers to step onto the historic stage as the organization continues to book live theater and music into the new year. The Opera House also advertises “Theater Troop Fridays,” described as recurring on third Fridays from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., positioning the program as a regular arts outlet for younger participants and families during the school year.

For music fans, “Blues Jam” is scheduled for Jan. 29, with tickets noted as donation-based. Organizers describe it as a welcoming community jam hosted by Second Hand Blues, framing the evening as more than a sit-and-watch concert — a night where local players and listeners can share the room and keep the tradition going through midwinter.

In the public-meeting lane, the Franklin Northeast Supervisory Union’s site lists a “NMV UUSD Regular Board Meeting” for Wednesday, Jan. 7 at 6:30 p.m., with the physical location set for the Enosburg Falls Middle/High School Library and a virtual participation option posted for the public.
