VERMONT — Vermont State Police cited multiple drivers during the week of Jan. 14–20 for operating vehicles with criminally suspended licenses.

Troopers across several barracks reported stopping motorists who were not legally authorized to drive due to prior court actions or unresolved violations.

Driving with a suspended license is a criminal offense in Vermont and often accompanies other violations, including lack of insurance and vehicle registration issues.

State police said proactive traffic enforcement is intended to reduce preventable crashes and increase accountability among motorists.

Police encourage drivers to verify their license status before operating a vehicle.
