Montgomery town offices closed for holidays through early January

MONTGOMERY — Town offices in Montgomery were closed from Dec. 23 through Dec. 31, 2025, and again on Jan. 1 and Jan. 2, 2026, according to a notice posted by the town.

Officials advised residents to plan ahead for municipal business and to use the town’s outdoor drop box for tax and water payments during the closure period. Online services remained available while offices were closed.

The town also noted that residents needing notary services during the closure could contact a local Justice of the Peace, whose information is listed in the municipal directory. Banks and attorney offices may also provide notarial services.

Town offices were scheduled to reopen following the holiday period.
