Montgomery senior meal set for May 7

MONTGOMERY, Vt. — Montgomery’s next senior meal is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 7, according to a town notice posted April 28.

The meal is part of the town’s regular community programming and gives older residents a chance to gather, eat and stay connected with neighbors. Senior meals remain one of the simplest but most important local services in small towns, especially in rural communities where transportation, isolation and winter recovery can affect older residents.

The town listed the meal under its latest news updates. Residents seeking details should check with the town office or the town’s public notice channels.

Montgomery posts municipal updates, public meeting information, board notices and community announcements through its official town website, along with email update options and public notices.
