RICHFORD \u2014 Vermont State Police have charged a Richford woman following an investigation into an assault that left one individual injured, authorities reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Troopers responded to a report of a disturbance in the village and determined that an altercation had occurred between two individuals known to each other. The accused, identified as Deborah Farris-Clark, 58, was taken into custody following the investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Police said the victim sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene. No life-threatening injuries were reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Farris-Clark was transported to the Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility, where she was held on $500 bail. She is expected to appear in Franklin County Superior Court to answer to a charge of aggravated assault.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Authorities did not provide additional details regarding the circumstances leading up to the incident. The investigation remains ongoing, and no further arrests have been announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
