{"id":3768,"date":"2026-10-25T15:27:54","date_gmt":"2026-10-25T19:27:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vermont105press.com\/?p=3768"},"modified":"2026-10-25T15:31:34","modified_gmt":"2026-10-25T19:31:34","slug":"two-vehicle-crash-in-enosburg-sends-fairfield-woman-to-hospital","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vermont105press.com\/fr\/two-vehicle-crash-in-enosburg-sends-fairfield-woman-to-hospital\/","title":{"rendered":"Two-Vehicle Crash in Enosburg Sends Fairfield Woman to Hospital"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>ENOSBURG, Vt. \u2014<\/strong> An 81-year-old Fairfield woman was transported to Northwest Medical Center following a two-vehicle collision Oct. 1 at the intersection of West Enosburg Road and Tyler Branch Road, according to Vermont State Police,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The crash occurred at approximately 2:05 p.m. and involved two Ford sport utility vehicles driven by residents of St. Albans and Fairfield.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Police identified the drivers as Harold Bigelow, 83, of St. Albans, and Judy Bryce, 81, of Fairfield.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the police report, Bigelow was operating a 2019 Ford Escape and entering the intersection while traveling west. Bryce was driving a 2020 Ford EcoSport southbound on West Enosburg Road, also designated Vermont Route 108.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The vehicles collided in the southbound lane of West Enosburg Road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bryce sustained minor injuries and was transported to Northwest Medical Center for treatment. Bigelow was not injured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both drivers were wearing seat belts, according to the report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Police described weather conditions as overcast, with dry road surfaces at the time of the collision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Escape sustained damage to its front end and passenger side, while the EcoSport sustained front-end damage. Both vehicles required towing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Troopers Seth Boudreau and James Gallup of the Vermont State Police St. Albans Barracks responded to the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The initial news release did not identify a contributing factor or announce any traffic citations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Source:<\/strong> Vermont State Police email, Oct. 2, 2026.
